Role Overview

As an Accounting Associate, you will assist in preparing, reviewing, and filing tax returns and compliance reports for clients. You will work closely with senior accountants to ensure accurate and timely submissions with the BIR and other regulatory bodies.

Responsibilities

  • Directly reporting to the CPAs in-charge and assist Accounting Associates
  • Pro-active assistance to ensure the team’s timely compliance with BIR requirements
  • Assistance as the team performs tax planning or bookkeeping activities
  • Assistance in the preparation and submission of required documentation to tax authorities
  • Liaise in the processing of registrations and/or renewals of business permits and licenses and other responsibilities involving government agencies.
  • Perform ad hoc accounting/tax-related tasks assigned by the supervisor
  • Maintain precise and well-organized records

Requirements

  • Graduate of Accounting Management/Technology, Finance, or other Business related courses.
  • 2 years of solid experience in tax preparation, filing, BIR compliance, basic bookkeeping, and preparation of AFS.
  • Gained professional experience in the Accounting Consulting/Services industry, supporting clients with comprehensive accounting and compliance tasks.
  • Proficient in Excel, Google Sheets, Google Drive, Word, Zoom, Viber, etc.
  • Skilled at prioritizing workload to meet tight deadlines and perform effectively under pressure
  • Knowledge of BIR filings/ processes, and electronic filing systems (eFPS, eBIRForms, etc.).
  • Willing to work onsite in Civic Prime, Alabang, Muntinlupa City
  • Confident, proactive, and embraces challenges with a can-do attitude.
